"I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
Just as I have loved you, you should also love one another."

John 13:34

No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here just as you are!

Come share the love!

History and beliefs: Founded in 1885 by a group of men and women representing a dozen different denominations, Bethany chose to affiliate with the Congregational Church so that it could maintain its autonomy as a community church and pursue the worship of God in Christ and service to God's creation as discerned by her congregation and clergy. We have been a prayerful, loving church, emphasizing God's grace and love through worship and service to our local community and the entire creation ever since. We follow in the tradition of Reformed Christianity as articulated by the confessions and creeds of the church catholic and evangelical and we understand those confessions and creeds as testimonies rather than tests of faith. We are a proud member congregation of the United Church of Christ and we welcome all God's children of every race, color, sexual orientation and disability as equally precious and beloved of God. Because Christ's arms were and are, open to all and his grace is offered to all who would accept it, our communion table is open to all, and we invite all to join us in the celebration of the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sundays of every month.

Whether you come full of faith or full of doubts, in joy or in sorrow, seeking a community of faith or just plain seeking, you are welcome here! Come join us for worship, join us for communion, know the real presence of Christ in the bread and grape, and join us for coffee and fellowship after the service. God loves you- come share the love!
